My group and I did a simulation to show evolution using beans and various silverware. Teams were given either a fork, spoon, or knife and were asked to gather up as many beans from the middle of the room as they could. Obviolusy, the spoon one because it was the most "evolved" and the knife lost. This 10 minute experiment showed the three necessary conditions for evolution:

1.) Variation- Each group randomly had either forks, spoons, or knives

2.) Inheritance- If this was a real life situation, the forks and spoons would have been bread and more generations would have occurred.

3.) Limited Resources- There was a limited number of beans in the middle
